A friendly reminder to my valued guests. In order to continue providing the best possible scheduling options to my guests, please review my policy. I always respect your time and profession and trust you will do the same in return. Studio services are reserved especially for you. Providing outstanding service is the core of my business. I get it, things can happen and your appointment may need to be modified. However, because my time is dedicated to your booked service, my local studio depends on my clients' attendance. Please reveiw my cancellation policy below. There are multiple ways to reach out to the studio when you find out you won't be able to make your appointment. You can reply to any appointment reminder text or email. Call or text the studio during business hours or DM me on Facebook or Instagram. I thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding. 


Within two days (48 hours) of your scheduled appointment, you will receive an appointment confirmation text message to verify that you would like to keep your appointment, it is required that all appointments are confirmed via the link provided. The appointment confirmation text is an acknowledgment that you have read and agree to all of the studio’s information, pricing, and policies. Any appointment that has not been confirmed within 24 hours of the initial confirmation message will be canceled.


Upon receiving your initial confirmation text within two days (48 hours) of your appointment, please alert the studio of any service change requests at that time by either calling or text the main studio number 719-347-1978 to comminicate with me directly. Alternatively you may also use the booking link to modify the appointment.

Any modifications to a confirmed appointment must be made 24 hours in advance of the appointment start time. Modification requests for scheduled and confirmed appointments within 24 hours of the appointment will incur 100% of the original cost of confirmed appointments. Example: An appointment scheduled and confirmed for highlight and haircut services followed by a request to alter the appointment by canceling the highlight service within 24 hours will incur fees equaling the highlight and haircut services. If you accept an appointment within 24 hours of the start time of the scheduled services, any modification will incur a fee.

Once an appointment is confirmed, any changes must happen with more than 24 hours’ notice before the start time of the appointment in order to avoid modification charges.


Canceling appointments with more than 24 hours is mandatory. No fees or charges occur with such notice.

I have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Should you cancel your appointment with less than 24-hours' notice or fail to show up "No-Call/No-Show" to the scheduled appointment, you will be charged up to 100% of your services booked before a new appointment can be scheduled. You will be required to secure all future bookings with a deposit. Failure to pay the penalty may be grounds for refusal of service. 

All clients are required to put a card on file in the salon encrypted system, at the time of scheduling a service to hold appointments. Payment in full is due at the time of service. In addition to penalty charges for single incidents, repeat violations of the policies laid out in these terms may result in refusal of service or the requirement to leave a deposit prior to each scheduled appointment. This deposit is determined on a case-by-case basis and dependent on the service scheduled. Scheduling an appointment and putting your card on file means that you understand and accept all policies laid out in this waiver and authorize the penalty fees to be charged for missed/late/no-show appointments. Deposits are NOT refundable.

Please note that removing services from your reserved and confirmed appointment is considered a service appointment cancelation. Example: Reserving a color and haircut appointment and deciding to forgo the color service either within 24 hours of the appointment or during the consultation in the studio is considered a same-day cancelation for the color appointment. 


If you have NOT confirmed your appointment up to 24-hours before, your appointment will be canceled.

If you are sick or have symptoms, please notify me prior to your appointment to be rescheduled. If you arrive at your appointment and appear sick, the appointment will be canceled. Please be considerate of all others in the salon. 


If cancellations are made after 4 pm by voicemail or SMS, the notice period will start at 10 am the next morning. If this falls within the 24 hr cancellation period, your deposit will be forfeited and classed as a cancellation ‘fee’.

Please note that there is no one attending calls/emails after hours. Hence, contact must be made by speaking with me before the end of the working day. This is because it is not often possible to fill appointments on such short notice.


A 15 minute grace period is permitted to all clients, as I strive to accommodate all guests.  However, if you arrive later than 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time with no communication, I reserve the right to call a “no show.” If you are more than 15 minutes late for your booking, I reserve the right to reschedule your appointment. I may not be able to perform your complete service or may need to re-book as it can affect other client bookings. Please understand that this policy is in place so that I do not run late for other scheduled and on-time appointments.

I pride myself on providing service to all my clients in a timely and professional manner. Your promptness is greatly appreciated and required to serve you properly. In the event that you are running more than 15 minutes late, you will be billed 100% of the entire service, and you will be asked to reschedule out of respect for my other clients. I reserve the right to cancel or modify your services as needed to stay on time for all following appointments. I realize that your time is valuable, and I appreciate that you recognize mine is as well. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on my waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because I know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. 


ALL PRICES ARE STARTING AT PRICES. Color prices are starting based on 8-12 weeks of grow out. If it has been longer than that since you've had your hair done, expect to have extra bowls of color mixed at $25 per bowl. All color services have a base price and will range upwards depending on the plan we create and what needs to be used for your hair. Total chair time and pricing will vary depending on location, application, hair length, density and overall condition of hair. Long length and/or texture or very thick dense hair, using multiple colors and services require more products and time. All Balayage, Foilyage, and Hair Painting color are Specialty Services and are customized to suit individual client needs. These Specialty Services can take between 3 -5 hours on average to finish and will have additional charges for toning and treatments applied. Prices are subject to change based on the actual services performed. These prices serve as a guide only. 

I will give an estimated quote during the consultation. Please consult with your stylist for any further questions. 

*Please note that the number of sessions needed may vary based on your desired result. Modern Colors may take multiple appointments to achieve goals. For example, I cannot safely take your black hair to platinum in one session. 


For the safety of your child, we ask that children under the age of 12 be seen by appointment only. 


A deposit is required when it is determined that a Color Correction is necessary and must be paid to book the service or any other lengthy service. Existing or new clients with a no-show or cancellation history will also be required to pay deposits for any bookings. Deposits are non-refundable and can only be transferred to another day and/or time if the appointment is rescheduled prior to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. If you “no show” or attempt to reschedule the appointment WITHIN 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time, I reserve the right to keep the original deposit and request a new one for the new appointment. Please make sure you communicate with me to avoid this as I do not want this to happen.

Accepted forms of payment for all services can be made with Cash, Venmo, Apple-Pay, Google-Pay, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Afterpay. Due to rising costs and processing fees, a 3% surcharge is required for all card transactions.  

        REFUNDS & RE-DOS

I want all my clients to love their hair, so I spend time at the beginning of each appointment with a custom color consultation to ensure I understand your desired color, coupled with a realistic and honest appraisal of how and if that can be achieved in the current service or if it will be a journey requiring multiple visits. 

Due to the time and materials that go into your custom service, I do not offer refunds. I am more than happy to make adjustments to technical errors. Examples of errors are Bleed Marks, Toner Spots, Uneven Cut. If you feel that there was a technical error with your service, please reach out to me within 24 hours of your appointment, and I will happily get you in to make the needed adjustments. Any adjustment requests after 24 hours will not be accommodated. Any adjustment would need to be scheduled no later than 5 days after notifying the studio. If you are not absolutely in love with your hair, I am happy to re-address any issues (within 24 hours). Its not an uncomfortable experience, I want my guests to be happy and love their hair!

I do take deposits to hold long duration appointments such as those for hair color corrections. This is due to the dramatic impact losing a long duration appointment has on your stylist schedule. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, the deposit for the service will be charged. 

Please note that  my prices on my website are a guide and can change without notice. I can provide an estimate during a scheduled personal consultation or during your consultation before we start your hair service.
